Features:
- Plot thawing heated blanket is designed for quick and efficient ground thawing, offering an effective solution to thaw frozen ground
- Safer, less labor intensive, less expensive, and easier to store than other ground thawing solutions
- Provides rapid and uniform heat across its entire surface and won't damage surrounding turf
- Thaws thoroughly and evenly so underneath sod can often be cut out and stored and then laid back down after the plot is filled back in, saving the expense of replanting the grass
- On average, blankets will thaw 1-2" of frozen ground per hour
- Blankets are insulated, water-resistant, and ETL-certified to UL, CSA, and CE safety standards, ensuring safe and efficient use
Specifications:
- 3' x 10' blanket draws 9.17 amps with 110v. This blanket requires a standard 15 amp outlet or generator electric source.
- 5' x 9' blanket draws 13.8 amps with 110v. This blanket requires a 20 amp outlet or generator electric source.
- Blankets can be heated to a preset of 150 °F ± 10 °F / 65 °C ±5 °C
